Thanksgiving Decor 2023

Thanksgiving Decor 2023

Imagine a candlelight dinner for your closest family and friends. Unless you're Hyacinth Bucket (it's pronounced Bouquet!) this is a once or twice a year event, so let's make it grand, shall we? That said, making a meal grand is more than the fabulous dishes or expensive items. In the end it's really about those we spend the time with - but beautiful things certainly help! In the spirit of Thanksgiving, which ushers in Sagittarius season, I've developed a Thanksgiving design to remember.

Sagittarians are intelligent, independent individuals - so independent, in fact, that it's likely they're saddling up to someone else's table rather than hosting everyone over at theirs. So this design isn't necessarily for a Sagittarius to design their home with, but should feel familiar and pleasant to them, and to get the rest of us on their page. Don't forget, each of us have Sagittarius (and every sign!) in our charts, even if a planet isn't located in that house. This design will speak to each of us in our own way, depending on our own charts.

Aside from bottling the worldly and firey spirit of Sagittarius in this design, I wanted to be sure to include a high/low mix of items; expensive, like the gorgeous vintage dining table suitable for Delia Deetz, or affordable, like the place settings from Anthropologie and West Elm. Not forgetting that Sagittarius is a fire sign, this design incorporates warmer colours and dynamic patterns and forms while also embracing the earthy tones of autumn.

Be sure to check out the shopping list below to get the look! Please note that this post is not sponsored in any way by any company, and are simply my suggestions.

Let me know what you think of this design! And happy holidays to all.
